Credit card fraud prevention for merchants: Quantity and frequency
A shipment of 53 Nike’s should raise suspicion. Criminals will
commonly order in bulk. This makes it easy for them to sell goods on the
street. Also remember to investigate multiple orders that are made within
a short amount of time. It’s easy to spot erratic patterns when
a customer places 32 orders in under 24 hours. This can be difficult to
distinguish from last minute shopping during the holiday season.
